Ron Cromwell Chevron Star Smog

Review for Chevron Gas Station – 1549 S Novato Blvd, Novato, CA I’ve been to a lot of air stations around Novato and have often found that the pumps don’t work correctly, causing more air to escape from my tires rather than filling them up. However, when I visited this Chevron location, I was able to get an accurate reading and fill my tires without any issues. The air sensor on my car turned off as expected, and I was done in no time. I would absolutely recommend this station if you need reliable air for your car tires! 3/19/25

The nicest guys!!! The battery had died on my Jeep, so the electronic monitors wouldn’t pass smog. They gave me great advice on how to drive it so the monitors would clear. They plugged it in at least 3 different times when I came by. Their advice worked and the Jeep finally passed its smog check! Thanks for making a super frustrating problem smaller and easier to deal with! PS… don’t let the battery die on your car if it needs to pass smog :)

Great place to get your smog check done! I called in ahead to schedule an appointment after a referral from a friend of mine who has been taking all her cars here for years. My regular go-to place is in the process of changing ownership so they are no longer star certified. Cromwell’s Chevron is my new spot to get my smog done! Very friendly, affordable, and efficient service. I was in out in less than 15 minutes and they also sent my star certificate to the DMV for free! Thank you guys, I will be back! Fred.

Quick, nice staff and good price! Only took 20 mins. Went to get some donuts and visited Pini's. Came back and it was all done. Folks working there were very nice. Will be back again!

I had my truck smogged 6 months ago and it never gor submitted to the state. I had the truck retested and had an issue with a computer not posting. Third time, third charge with no break in the fees, it passes. Confirmed with tech that it was submitted to the state... Well. 2 tickets inthe same day and 2 hours at DMV proves that was wrong.
