My mom was a patient at Royal Tabor in New Bedford . She was there on 3 separate occasions. I can't say enough about the care she received. We always felt comfortable and at ease with her there. Great care and great staff. My mom is challenging. She has many medical issues. When she was hospitalized and referred to rehab again, Tabor was of course was my moms first choice. Tabor denied taking her. The Administrator himself told me that they were not able to care for her level of need. I was and still am shocked that this was told to me. I was trying to think how this could happen... So does that mean that they are understaffed? Or that they don't have people qualified to care for her? Or does this just mean that they don't want to care for someone who is in need of high level care ? If a
