Royal Rinse Car Wash

I was in town visiting friends in Charleston and noticed how packed Royal Rinse was, so I figured I had to give it a shot — and I’m glad I did! Looks like they just opened, but everything was super clean and well set up. The chemicals they use are legit — my car looked amazing afterward! The pressure was fire, it removed all the grime off of my car effortlessly. Overall, really impressed. Definitely a solid spot if you’re in the area and want a quality wash!

$7 minimum for the self service bay! C'mon now. Decided to opt for the $5 express wash instead. ($5.50 with CC surcharge 😂) What a joke. The tire pic is after the wash. Did I go off-roading in my 4x4? Nope. The minivan went through some mud puddles during morning drop-off. Guess that was too much for the Royal Rinse.

Newly opened, amazing renovation. I barely recognize the place! All new touch-free car wash and new equipment in the self-serve bays including hand-held air dryers. Monthly subscriptions available for touch-free machine. I'll be back for sure!

I don’t normally post reviews but this was so bad, I felt compelled to share. I need a touch less car wash for my car and came here today for the first time. Bought a $13 wash, followed the prompts and left. Got home and my car is filthy! I am taking pics of it to sell today and had to get out the hose and wash it myself on this balmy 40 degree day. Would not recommend at all - black streaks all over the car, not clean whatsoever and a sad waste of time and money.

Keep driving. Do not slow down. Great concept and much needed; however, the new owners have failed in their execution. 1) (and most important) It is very difficult if not impossible to STOP the timer in the self-service bays, which means that your card is still being charged after you drive away!!! Neither of the two STOP settings on the dial actually stop the time, and the third stop button doesn't work either. This problem is present in multiple bays. 2) The dryer did not work in one bay so I moved to the next one. 3) The dryer in another bay did not work while washing a 2nd vehicle...it was actually disconnected from the blower machine above the bay. This resulted in me incurring another $7 or $8 min fee. 4) Products not during select was cycles. 5) Vacuum smell horribly. 6) The tubing
