Safelite AutoGlass

Was never even able to get my glass replaced. They ordered the wrong piece of glass twice, and kept pushing back the date of the appointments. After pushing back my appointment date yet again, I'm done. Would absolutely not recommend if looking for timely service, or good service period.

I hired them to replace my windshield due to a large crack running across 3/4 of my windshield. I hired them based on how quickly they could get me the appointment; they were scheduling sooner than the competition. I had a 9-1 window and they arrived around 1030AM. The technician didn't even notice the crack in the windshield when he looked. After about 45 minutes he tells me he has the wrong windshield and that the same thing happened to his earlier appointment. He said he could get the right one and come back between 1-5. I had plans for the afternoon but as this is important I said I would cancel and wait at home for them to come back. The technician called me around 215 to ask if I could come to them to do it, but I could not so he said he would come back. Never heard from him again. O

Because of a cracked (but completely functional) rear-view mirror my car didn't pass inspection. I spent a full week trying to get an appointment to install a new one at the Mazda dealership. I finally just picked up the new mirror from the dealership, stopped at Safelite at 4:30--no appointment--and it was installed right then. The tech sat in my car, with my 2 dogs, tapped the old one out and the new one in 5 minutes and didn't charge me. Excellent service!

The person who came out to do the windshield on my car was very pleasant spent maybe two hours. However when he left I noticed that the top edges of the windshield gasket was probably open about a half an inch on both corner sides. I called, he came right out. Fixed one side not great, but fixed it nonetheless nothing leaks. They're pretty good I would suggest them. Usually they vacuum your car and such as a courtesy. But I told him he didn't need to. Although I still have a gap on both sides of the top windshield, it's not leaking so I'll live with it. I would probably take it in next time. But very pleasant, customer services spectacular, I would recommend.

They changed the windshield in my car and that was fine. The weird thing was, they were supposed to call and let me know when they were coming. No phone call. So I called the shop to make sure they had me on their schedule and I was told the service person had already been here. To my surprise, she was right. No call, no one came to my door. I didn't even know the work had been done. So my advice is watch out your window when you're waiting for them. Lol.
