Sam's Club Tire & Battery

I’ve heard Carrie (sp?) being rude and short with many customers over the years. Today was my turn. I think she needs a different job. She’s forgotten that not everyone is trying to get away with something. Sometimes customers, who are people by the way, just want an answer to a question or have a problem that needs solving. In my case, the solution to the problem is purchasing 2 new tires, but for the first time in 13 years I won’t be getting them from Sam’s. Customer service matters.

We went in November and asked for the best tires for our son's car. Tire install was set for mid December. When our son came home after install, we noticed Sam's put tires on his car that were almost 5 and over 5.5 years old (two different manufacturing dates). The lady at the desk quoted how legally they were allowed to put any tires on the car less than six years old. The only saving grace was Travis, the service manager said, "Sorry, one slipped by" and offered to put new tires on. When we came in to get them replaced, the lady at the desk kept insisting they can put tires 5 years and 364 days old on a car. While that's techically true, Goodyear, the manufacuture (as well as NHTSA) recommends new tires at the 6 year mark and the warranty is not valid as dry rot, etc. can occur, re

I went here and they put my tire on and a few weeks later I was having issues with my car . They put 2 sizes to big on my car . How do you not notice it’s not a grand Cherokee . I will never go to this Sam’s club again . DO NOT GO TO THIS SAMS !!!!

Very helpful and friendly staff that took care of scheduling two different sets of tire purchases and rotations.
