Sam's Club Tire & Battery

Came to get new tires installed and asked them to replace a TPMS sensor. They told me that one of the other ones tested "bad" and urged me to replace that one as well. I folded cause it was only another 40 bucks. Well they call me an hour later to say that a 3rd sensor now "went bad" and asked if id like to replace it. I said no, seeing as I had 3 working sensors when I went in. I went to pick up my vehicle and after driving off the lot I see that NONE of my TPMS sensors are reading on the vehicle. So I go back about 20 mins later and ask if maybe they forgot to reprogram it before signing off on it and they explained that because of the 3rd "bad" sensor the system won't reset until I get that sensor replaced. I asked them questions about how this sensor magically went bad in the 1 hour

Store not always organized, Slow to checkout and leave store. Took 10+ min to leave the store because the people scanning your purchases to let you out the door did not know they were doing. Dialed tire dept, got pharmacy, they sent me to tires, rang to front desk, no answer after many rings, call dropped, dial tone. Tire dept very good, once an appointment is made by call center. Tire call center usually works well. Can not call tire dept directly? Have bought a lot of tires over 25+ years, like Sam's tire dept. a lot.

Bryan and Doug are probably what make this Sam's Clubs customer service be at peak performance. They are experts in the field and will work within your requirements as long as you let them know your limits. They were honest about a wheel needing to be replaced. One I got a new wheel they were able to install the tire at no additional charge. I had forgotten to remove the sensor and they were even willing to put in the new one for me. Another occasion I could appreciate from these guys is when my wife's tire went flat. I was still within my warranty and they were quick to replace it at no charge. Highly recommended!

Make sure you check your tire pressure after getting service. The overinflated my tires to 40 psi when they are supposed to be 32. Especially in Winter you don't want your tires overinflated

Disappointed and appalled at the terrible customer service. I ordered tires online yet when they arrived I couldn't make an appointment, Auto department doesn't take phone calls and doesn't return messages (I had left 2 over a week without a return call). Customer service woman tells me (with attitude) "well they're busy". After such a rude and inappropriate response I asked to speak with a manager, but instead I get transferred to someone in the auto department instead of a manager! Auto department is booked out by a month, so now I have to get tires from a reputable tire dealer. I again asked to speak to a manager and got put on hold for 8 minutes before I hung up. I'll take my business elsewhere and cancel my membership, it's worthless anyway
