Had a great experience here. Sam is very knowledgeable, trustworthy, and dilligent. He took care of alot of issues that my previous mechanic missed, and was very fair and communicative the entire time. Great customer service and great mechanic!

Bottom line, Sam is a talented, honest mechanic, offering great value and transparent pricing! To find out how I came to that conclusion, keep reading... I happened to be in the Warwick,/East Greenwich area when I stopped into Sam's Auto and fuel for gas.  As luck would have it, Sam the owner was pumping gas that day. Right away, he told me that I should use a lower octane gas for my SUV. I was surprised, because another mechanic had recommended the higher grade for  my 19 year-old Mercury Mountaineer. That piqued my interest because it would result in a decrease of sales on his part.  He explained the reasoning about lowering the  octane and  also took a cursory look at my vehicle.  Sam said that if I ever wanted to  improve performance/increase longevity to stop by his garage. I had the luck to get my completely flat tire right next to Sam's. I had never been to his place before, but he treated me very kindly. Even though he was due to close up in a few minutes, he took the time to look at my tire. He was going to put my spare on for me, but he found out that my car didn't even have a spare unbeknownst to me. It was a Saturday afternoon, and so I left my car there and he was able to put two new tires on it, do an alignment and an oil change for me and have it ready on Monday. He even offered to give me a ride home. And now he is looking into getting a spare for me to have. Great place!

The owner was super friendly. Loves his customers, knows them by name. Pumps your had so you don't have to get out. I didn't have cash to top, but I would've just because of the service.
