A Car-Buying Safari Adventure at San Marcos Toyota! As my family migrated across the used lot at San Marcos Toyota, a wild creature of a sales associate came sprinting toward us like a cheetah closing in on prey on the Serengeti. I could immediately tell this Peter Pan-like figure was lean—thin from too few car sales—but hungry today to make a deal. Sales Creature Nick Garza was clearly a Toyota guy, his eyes lighting up as he admired my Tacoma like a rare trophy. He quickly assessed the situation and showed us several Tacomas and one very clean, aggressive 4Runner. After a quick test drive around the Southern Plains Loop, we got down to business.
