Shrewsbury Wash-N-Stor

Finally got rid of the salt on my truck. Used the self car wash. Glad I was able to use my credit card. Didn't have to have a pocket of change.

Superlative car wash! It's becoming harder and harder to find decent self-serve car washes, but Shrewsbury Wash-n-store delivers. The complex is very well maintained, with all the bays kept in exceptionally clean condition and all wash functions working properly. The price is also very reasonable, with your typical self service ash costing around $6-8 if you prioritize your wash time. The chemicals seem to be of decent quality, as the soap wash produced decent suds and the wax setting left my truck with decent water beading. As with most self service car washes, the wash gun can have a bit of delay when switching between chemicals, so you should point it at the ground when switching between certain settings (from tire cleaner to wash soap). I've been going to this car wash for over 20 years. It's the best self service car wash within an hour drive, the price isn't terrible, they use warm water which is great, and you can go here anytime of night which is one of my favorite features. Make sure the water in the drain doesn't contain coolant before using a bay though, I believe they recycle water and the last time I used a bay I had a film on my car afterwards, but other than that it leaves my car looking brand new.
