Moved here from NW Washington recently and had to find a mechanic I trust. I have been really impressed. They did a thorough inspection the first time with detailed pictures. I have never seen that before. Sam was very friendly, knowledgeable, and communicative with me. I just had the same vehicle in for a rattle around the exhaust and a brake job. They were honest and didn’t push unnecessary work. Matt was excellent as well, friendly, communicative, and knowledgeable. I have owned a business and I’m impressed with how they do things. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend these guys. They aren’t the cheapest but quality work isn’t cheap either. They also warranty their work, that’s valuable!! Thanks guys!

Matt and Sam were excellent. I came in for an oil change and it was done promptly. As part of the oil change, they perform a complimentary inspection of your vehicle (and send you a detailed report w/ pictures) and they noticed that I had a significant problem with one of my tires that I'd been unaware of (and which made driving actually unsafe). As much as I hated to have to address it as it was an extra cost, I confirmed that it was necessary with trusted friends who know more than me and they confirmed it was absolutely unsafe and need to be fixed. Silverlake worked with me to do it at a cost that matched their competitors and they were able to do it the same week as opposed to competitors where it would've taken more time driving on unsafe tires. I took my car to Silverlake Automotive in Rathdrum Idaho. Never used them before and I was very impressed. They were to fully evaluate a car that had been sitting in the hot sun at Las Vegas for about 4 years and never driven. I towed it from Vegas to Rathdrum Idaho to give to one of my sons. They evaluated it and didn't attempt to up sell me on anything. The total bill is about what I expected. The service advisor, Matt, called me daily with a progress report. I haven't driven it yet to test it out because it is not registered with the DMV yet. I expect it to drive fine now. I am very impress with them and will take my car back there again. Great Job!

Everyone from Tom, the driver to Matt were great. Tom is the one who told me how to turn off auto assist. I have worked with them for over a year now and they always keep me informed about progress on my car. Great staff❣️
