I bought a 2010 F150 from Steve that had a few apparent issues and Steve told me he would have his mechanic fix the issues. I called him about a week later and he said his mechanic was about two weeks and would look at it. About 2 weeks later this truck started showing engine problems and I called several times with no reply. After several text messages he replied saying he was out of town and would be back and we would take care of the issues. No call and no action. Then he said he would sell me another car at his cost. I told him I did need another car to either fix things or trade for a another vehicle and that was the last I heard from him. In the meantime I had a mechanic look at it and when he told me the cost to repair it and the problems that engine is noted for would be more than

I would not ever do business with these lying cheats. They are not honest and lie about the vehicles they sale. The refuse to give “their” mechanics report. Claim their mechanic drove the car 50-80 miles. Stoke $600 from me? Said it was a deposit. They have nothing saying it was a deposit. Stay away.

Steve was awesome to deal with. A totally different car buying experience with no pushy salesman. We bought my daughter's first car from him that he was selling on consignment. Even though he didn't profit from the sale much, he was still super helpful and stayed after hours while we decided on the purchase and drove around to several banks to get the money because the ATMs were not working. I highly recommend Smart Auto and Steve.
