Stop and Drive Autos

I bought a 2010 Ford Escape and when I test drove it, it had a cracked windshield and check engine light on. They said they would "take care of it." The windshield was replaced and when I inquired about the check engine light, I was told it was fixed but never got a definitive answer as to what the issue was. First it was an "EVAP" code, then it was a whole bunch of "I don't know." That's what Ed said on the phone. Someone who runs the place but doesn't know what work needs done on a customer's car that they purchased. I find that hard to believe.
