The Belmont Health & Rehabilitation

My grandmother stayed here after a shoulder replacement surgery. They did not input her care plan into the system and she experienced a delay in her recovery because they did not follow the care plan. Due to the lack of care required to recover from her surgery, she required oxygen, which incurred additional expense as a private pay patient. This was not discussed with the family. A bill came unexpectedly after she was released for the oxygen, which was several hundred dollars. The facility leadership openly admits they made a mistake with her care, but wants to nickel and dime my grandma over oxygen that was needed from being in pain from swelling that could have been reduced if they recorded the care plan into their system. We brought our mother to The Belmont in early April, and the difference between The Belmont and the previous facility is like night and day. Management is accessible, responsive, and respectful. They listen and hear what you have to say and are very compassionate. If there happen to be any issues, Azra, Jessica, and Brittany work as a team to provide solutions. The Belmont does an exceptional job with the meals they provide and meal rotation. I have met with nursing dietary, laundry, the billing office, the DON, and I have gotten to know many of the CNA’s, and all have been both pleasant and professional. They do an exceptional job!

This facility is great choice for rehabilitation. The staff is caring and professional. The building is clean, safe and beautiful. There are lots of activities if a resident chooses to participate.

The photos tell it all. Cold, impersonal, pretentious, grandiose. The food is terrible. The facility is understaffed so that the nurses and aids who are competent and caring are so overworked. If you can't be with your loved one at least once a day, preferably twice a day, don't move them to this facility. On second thought, just don't move them here.

My mother in law is a resident here and she is receiving excellent care. The stag have all treated her like family and she is doing extremely well. Her overall health has improved tremendously since we had her admitted here for long term care.
