The Shop CT

Over the years I have been coming to the shop for two of my vehicles. The shop has taken care of me every step of the way especially with my older car which has needed a ton of work. They absolutely treat you like family here, which is a breath of fresh air with some of the other places out there. I cannot say enough good things about Jimmy and his crew. This is the only place I will be bringing my vehicles.

Let me start out by saying I have never written a review on anything before. Jimmy, Lisa and the crew at TheShopCT have been amazing. I drive a 22’ Supra and I had multiple issues with parts from other performance shops and vendors that were recommended BUT Jimmy corrected all of the problems and kept me in the loop the entire time. Jimmy would always called me back/email or Lisa would call me back if Jimmy was busy working in the shop. If you are in the northeast and or willing to travel to CT TheShopCT is the place to go. They are honest, caring and conscientious. TheShopCT is immaculately kept and you will honestly not find a better shop. Thank you Jimmy, Lisa, the crew at TheShopCT for working and taking care of my car and Mike Botti for tuning my car.

I had a fantastic experience at The Shop CT today. From the moment I walked in, the Kakaletris family made me feel incredibly welcomed. They took the time to understand my needs without any pressure to make a purchase. I was referred by a friend, and now I understand why. My APR upgrade went smoothly, with Jimmy explaining it like he was personally doing it to his car. While I waited, took a couple of pictures of the cars outside and I knew I was in a place that was highly experienced. I'm excited about having more work done by them in the future. My friend recommended The Shop CT to resolve a major engine misfire I was experiencing with my 2019 Audi S4. After emails with Jimmy explaining my issue, he was able to quickly fit me in to fix my car. The staff was very attentive to the job, finding and communicating other small issues that could snowball, and took care of them no problem after clearing it with me. My car runs better than when I first bought it, and I couldn't be grateful enough for the work they put in. If I need anything done I'm confident The Shop CT will take care of it and have my car in the best shape it could be. Bottom line, you won't regret choosing Jimmy and his team. They treat you like family and care for your car like it's theirs. And the eye-candy of cars outside is always a plus to me. -Andrew
