The Village at Castle Pines

This is an upscale gated community and you would expect the staff at the guard stations would be trained to treated home owners, their guests, and service workers who visit their home with respect and kindness. BUT that is NOT the case here. The guards when you go into the community are the rudest people I have ever met. They have nasty attitudes and treat people as they are trash. We came to an open house and was treated terrible by not one but two of the staff at the guard stations. If this is how they treat someone considering moving to this community I would hate to see the way they treat guests. Such a shame as the area is beautiful. But based on the first impression of the guards I will look elsewhere.

The employees at the gate shack are very rude and recently started denying entry to any drivers with an out of date license plate. This is affecting not only homeowners, but also any service contractors they invite in to do work on their home, food delivery etc. If you schedule a service provider to do work on your home, and they have out of date tags, the gate employees won't let them in and you won't get your service. I think this is ridiculous. HOA employees think they own the property and make the rules.

I work in this area a lot I am familiar with most of the gate agents and I have to say lady named Barb. Hennessy is always incredibly rude. Seems like she’s super miserable roll her eyes when she has to grab an ID and leave the little hut. Honestly, I don’t know why you would want that to be the first face of the community but go off Community She’s incredibly rude and makes it seem like it’s a problem to do her job and honestly it looks like other reviews agree

Scanning people's drivers licenses is intrusive. If you offend the ultra sensitive, power tripping, wannabe cop woman at the gate you won't be allowed in.

Gate entry is a nightmare for vendors. Door dashers are starting to tell their colleagues not to accept deliveries here. Other vendors are also refusing. They may want to think about revamping the guidelines of trying to scan people’s drivers license into their computer system. It only affects their homeowners at the end of the day.
