Extremely happy with my recent visit to Thrifty Tires in Durham!!! Fantastic customer service and super quick to get me in an out with four tires on my vehicle! Prices met my budget and would highly recommend to anyone to go here. I even overheard another customer come in for a light bulb not working but they let her know that it was instead of trying to just get her to spend her money! Loved the honesty! I had work done here and it was awful. First they put 'bad" brakes on my car and then 5 months later the "bad" rotors were no good. They never discussed a warranty on any.of my parts. My car was shaking so bad I took it to the dealership to get what I thought was the back brakes and rotors replaced, during inspection they said it was the front rotors. I had them replace my rotors. Had I know about a warranty I would have had the tire company give me.my money back because it was such a hassle about the bad braked I didn't want to go back..All they said was there is nothing we can do. You have a warranty. No one discussed s warranty wuth me and uts not listed on my paper work. And why would I bring it back to a place that yses cheap parts on my car?? Im am so vexed and out of almost $400. I

Came to this place to get Rim fixed. Rim was fixed no problem. It took hours I understood that no problem. I dont live in Durham so the price quoted upon drop off was the amount taken out in cash. I was not called to be informed about the change in amount. When I say this I was told that I could come back the next day to pick up my tire. I never said that I didnt have it to pay on my card. I just prefer to handle it with cash and if I was notified I could have pulled out remainder. Next. The lady that rung me out didnt know what she was doing I handed her cash and paid balance with my card. My reciept did not reflect that. It just shows card payment and looks like I still owe money. I was told my tire was NOT ready I pull up it had been ready. I was told that they were "looking out for me"

This was one of the most stressful and disappointing experiences I’ve ever had with a shop. A few months ago, they replaced my tire, and last night I got another flat. When I tried to change it, I discovered they had given me the WRONG lug nut key, making it impossible to use my spare. This happened at 8:30 PM in freezing temperatures with my two-year-old daughter in the car. I spent the entire night scrambling to find a tow truck, paying out of pocket—which was NOT cheap—and worrying about our safety. The next morning, desperate for help, I called the shop—and the most frustrating part was the employee calmly telling me there was NOTHING they could do and to “call back Monday.” As a customer stranded in this situation, that is the worst response you can hear.
