I want to start by saying YES, I understand that when you buy a used vehicle, it is “as is.” However, I still expect the sales staff to have basic knowledge of the vehicle they are selling and to deliver a car that is reasonably prepared for purchase. He called several times to make sure the car he'd seen in the ad was still available, and they said it was waiting for him. I initially went in to do a trade in, but I was advised that it would be best if I actually purchased another vehicle and kept the trade. I also was informed that I would need to have a cosigner. I indicated that I was not going to go that route, and after an hour of this, my husband and I went outside to really look at some vehicles. The sales lady Came out with us for a bit and then she was called back inside. She then pulls up next to us in a brand new 2025 white Dodge Durango, which is the vehicle.
