Top Classic Cars

Recently had Klaus’ shop, Top Classic Cars replace the convertible top on my 2002 SL500 R129; Klaus suggested a change of color from black to light-grey to give the car a fresh look, and he was right. The light grey was perfect! However, the installation was horrible. The top would not lay flush to the body at the rear of the car— I was told by Klaus’ installer the top would eventually settle down to become flush with the body on its own—several months later it did not. I thought this issue might be resolved with a minor adjustment —so I took the car to a local (Lakeland, FL) auto upholstery shop (versus driving back to Ft Myers). All the stock is in terrible condition, literally it's mostly rusty non runners on a deralict site. We travelled to view classics, all we found was a scrap yard. No evidence that they are capable of reconditioning any of them - don't waste your time unless you need parts for your old Merc.

Paid another mechanic to service my AC, was told there was a leak and entire system needed to be redone. New to Florida asked around and Chris came highly recommended. Not only did he diagnosis the problem, the repair was fast as lightening and a fraction of what I was quoted from a big chain place. I recommend Chris to be your first stop. The entire staff was friendly and made me feel appreciated. Great job and a great place. Wish I had come in sooner.
