Total Automotive Repair

I DO NOT recommend this shop. I did not have a good experience with the shop. Took my Honda Pilot to this shop more than once. And the issues to my car never got fixed. The fixes were temporary but was told by them that my car will run better than before. Wasted my money and time coming to this place. Do not waste your time and money here as I did. I read through the 1 star reviews and I couldn’t agree more with what they said. I’m not here to stop anyone but to be cautious around this shop. Good luck if they are your only option.

I was on the freeway on my way to Kansas City from Arkansas when I suddenly heard a loud knocking sound on the right side of the car. I thought it might be a wheel bearing or something serious so I stopped at Total Automotive Repair. I was fearing the worst that it might end up costing me hundreds of dollars. The mechanic had a look and found that it was a pine cone wedged in the roof rack! They charged me nothing. These guys are honest—I highly recommend them!

I wish I could give them 10 stars! The dealership said I needed a new heater hose and quoted me $242! Total automotive said the heater hose was fine and it was actually something else that was causing the leak and it only came to $152!! I really believe these are mechanics you can trust and Steve is so kind and respectful! This is my second time here, the first time was a very similar situation with the dealership and Total Automotive was way less! I finally found a place I can trust what they say and the work they do!!

I absolutely love this place! I’m a single woman so sometimes it’s tough finding a mechanic i trust, but Steve and the rest of the staff are amazing!! They are incredibly kind and honest. I will never go to another mechanic as long as Steve still works here. Any time I’ve had car issues, they’ve gotten me in quickly and communicated the issues clearly. 10/10 service!!!

I would give them 10 stars out of 5 if I could. Steve and his crew are top-notch. We're in year number 4 of having Total Automotive working on all of our vehicles. I know when I have something go wrong, Steve and his crew will diagnose it correctly, fix it correctly, stand behind their work, and all at very affordable prices. They are pleasant to converse with and always have a very optimistic attitude. So far they have done work on all four of our kids' cars, our older model Jeep, and both of our daily drivers now that they're out of dealer warranty. I have never had as much faith and trust in a repair shop as I do with Steve and his crew. As long as it's a service that they provide, no one else will ever touch our vehicles.
