Toyota of Fort Walton Beach-Service

I took my car to the service department for a simple oil change, with that being said, allegedly I had to have all 4 tires replaced even though it wasn’t close to the time frame to get them replaced and I bought the vehicle from this place. I agreed and got the tires fixed and when everything was done they told me my car was ready to go and everything is now good. I drove off and less than 2 minutes later the brake light came on. I took the car back and they told me it wasn’t nothing they did and it was apparently just bad timing. So they broke something, blamed it on the car and I had to pay more out of pocket. This is the last time I am coming to this dealership for maintenance. There’s better and cheaper places all around the area anyways

My experience with the service department was terrible. My first experience - was when I had my first 6 maintenance on my Rav4. The service manager said between 1 to 2 hours. I asked if someone could take me to Home Depot. When I was done I called the service manager to pick me up. She said the driver is on their way. Guess what I waited over an hour to get picked up. When the pickup driver came she apologized and said she had been in the office no one told her that she had a customer to pick up…. Second bad experience - yesterday I had an 8:20 am appointment for a tire nail. The service manager said one hour &half wait. After 2 hrs sitting in the lobby, I got up and asked what was going on. The service manager said they are still working on it. 3 hours still not done. It's ridiculous no

Took my highlander in for basic inspection. Was notified my tires and filters needed replacing. The air filters had less 1k miles on them and I went to a tire shop after and they said the tires were not near needing replacement. Also when I went back to my car after the inspection the battery and maf sense were not attached properly causing the car to throw an engine light. They quickly cleared the light offering no apology or compensation just simply saying I guess our technician forgot.

So big change in temperature had the tire pressure down on my new RAV4. Drove 10 miles to see affect of warm up. Only got up to 28 lbs. Last week it was 32 all the way around and warmed up to33. Not a believer yet in the Nitrogen. 1 pm really backlogged at Dealership...felt guilty, but need to see if Nitrogen worth waiting 1 hr at dealership. Heather reminded me I could put air in. I stated yes I did know. Dedicated employee doing all the Nitrogen fills...just overwhelmed with all the business. Hopefully, it is as promoted...bigger molecules so less leaks. Stay tuned. Time up front saves hassles down the road. I've always had great satisfaction with Michelin.

Update visit: Saturday June 17, 2023 15K service. Mr. Rony Lopez assisted me on my arrival and departure. His professionalism and knowledge was acceptable. He is an asset to great customer service and to be recognized. The best service here yet! Thank you Toyota for bringing him to the team. Happy all around from start to finish.
