Union Park Volvo Service

My car had to be towed for a major repair from Rehoboth Beach to Wilimington. There was a warranty however like all, it was weary about covering several items. Dave, the Service Supervisor, went above and beyond to call the Warranty Company, take pictures and submit for further coverage. I live in New Hampshire and I had a time limit on when I had to be back. This service department got all the repairs done in two days, I was able to get back to address business on time. This whole department could not have been nicer and easy to work with. They took it upon themselves to address the Warranty company issues and save me quite a bit. I highly recommend this service for your Volvo!

Purchased my vehicle XC 60 2 years ago and have been bringing my vehicle into the service center since then. Attempting to call them is a challenge because a lot of times it goes to voicemail. To be honest, they are professional and get the job done efficiently. The complaint I would have is that the service reception area is not adequate. The customer bathroom is not available to use. You have to use the bathroom at the dealership next-door instead! No water in the refrigerator, no tea or any type of snacks. These are just basic things that you would find in any dealership. Not a huge request when you’re spending quite a few hours waiting for your vehicle. It sends the message that they don’t want customers waiting. I had a very disappointing experience with this service center. I was originally booked for a loaner car, but one day before my appointment I was informed that none were available. Instead, I was asked to either wait while the servicing was done or reschedule for later. I decided to wait and I was then told the service would take about 90 minutes, but it ended up taking more than 2 hours, which caused me to miss an important work meeting. The lack of clear communication and failure to honor the original commitment (both for the loaner car and the service time) was very frustrating. Customers’ time is valuable, and I expected a more professional approach to scheduling and transparency.
