Valvoline Instant Oil Change

I’m only allowed to bring my work truck to Valvoline per our fleet management. They are efficient and on point. This is the only valvoline I like. No bs when I come and I’m out quickly and back to work. They are also through. I work in a maintenance industry and I handle my customers the same way they do. With an honest overview of what needs to be done but they don’t pressure sell. As a side note the manager here runs this place like a well oiled machine (no pun intended) while also paying great courtesy to his customers. He always checks on his guys and is willing to help them. Furthermore he also gives words of encouragement to his guys which is admirable.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Michael and the team at Valvoline in East Hanover, NJ. I arrived at 5:45 PM (they close at 6) in a panic because I discovered I had zero oil left in my car. Without hesitation, they had me pull right into the bay and immediately started diagnosing the issue. They quickly found the cause — my car had been serviced somewhere else the day before, and a faulty part had caused all my oil to leak out. They tried adding a few quarts to help, but it was pouring straight out the bottom. Even after all that effort, they didn’t charge me a dime. Michael and the guys were honest, patient, and incredibly kind. They advised me not to drive the car for safety reasons and told me to call AAA to bring it back to the original shop. They even stayed past closing

I only asked for an oil change and they started checking my cabin filter without asking me. The employee struggled to remove my glove box and scraped the plastic and even broke some plastic off. It was not replaced properly and there is a gap now. I was there for over 40 mins when I went for a quick oil change. I told the employee to put my glove box back while he was struggling to remove it and he said he needed to check the filter because it is “part of the service.” However, they did not do this to the vehicle next to me and he was in and out in 15 mins. I will not be returning here.

Was a little weary at first but, these guys are legit. They are car heads (like me) and they know their stuff. They are professional and fast too. I drive 30 mins from home just to bring my STi here because I know I won’t have to deal with a shop with 2 guys on a weekend telling me “they don’t have enough people, please come back in an hour”. If you want a quick oil change done properly, go here. Skip the Mobil 1 across the highway. Maybe it’s 10$ more but, believe me the peace of mind is worth it.
