Valvoline Instant Oil Change

*Oil change cost me almost $400 in diagnostic services due to negligence from Valvoline.* I had an oil change at this Valvoline on December 27. Within days, my vehicle showed repeated low-oil warnings (December 31,January 5 and again January 6). Each time I returned, I was told there was “no leak.” I took my car to Volkswagen for a diagnostic per their advice that I get a diagnostic. Volkswagen confirmed that the plastic drain plug itself was broken, causing oil loss due to the previous oil change at Valvoline. The manager claimed the issue was a “broken O-ring due to wear and tear.” However, the photo clearly shows the damaged piece is not an O-ring — it is a broken section of the drain plug itself, with a visible piece broken off. Staff seemed not focused on the job. I know it's a start up but they were just not serious. One man started the transaction where I gave him the coupon for $30 off. Another man closed me out and charged me regular price because he didn't know about the coupon. Then no one knew how to fix it and I was asked to return later. At that point I asked for the manager and a man from pit area came up. He also did not know how to fix the issue but he called his manager who walked him through the process. I appreciated his approach in taking care of the coupon. So back to the service. The 2 guys up top where playing alot and did not appear to know how to service the truck and what tool to use. At one point they dropped a screw for the airfilter cover. I also saw they did not use a rag when removing

In and out before my little one got mad about being stuck in the car (worth the 5 stars alone! Lol). Thanks, guys! This is definitely my new go to for oil changes/tire rotation. Couldn't have been happier with the service, kindness, and efficiency.

This Valvoline store stripped my oil drain plug bolt and didn’t even tell me. I happen to see it licking in my drive like 8 hours after so I hop underneath and the bolt from the oil drain plug wasn’t there and it was licking from the drain plug. And they didn’t even tell me about it and let me drive off. That could have been worst if I didn’t catch it in time. And while I was there they drained my oil and then came to the the top of my engine and started taking oil out from the top and said that I still had oil left in it I i didn’t understand that but now I do
