I had one of the worst customer service and vehicle service experiences I have ever encountered at the Walmart Auto Care Center on Old Fort Parkway in Murfreesboro. On Friday, March 6, 2026 I brought my 2020 Kia Sportage in for a routine oil change at 10:01 AM. I received a message that service started at 10:21 AM. Over an hour later I discovered my vehicle had not even been serviced because the order had been written incorrectly without an oil filter. After waiting over an hour and needing to leave for another appointment, I rescheduled and drove away. Within minutes my vehicle sounded extremely loud and the oil light began flashing. Person checking me in turned me away for a tread depth for a tire rotation and balance even with the warranty. Asked him what the depth was he said idk. Doesn’t even know how to check tread depth. I checked it tire we’re at 5/32 low but not unsafe to touch. Avoid these amateurs. Went to another location they did the work no problem. Bunch of no knowledge kids working her. Avoid it if you care about your car, and don’t want to get cheated into buying new tires. Thankfully, I have some mechanical knowledge and avoided the upsell.

Very poor customer service at the Walmart Auto Care Center. The staff were unfriendly, charged me without offering bags, and wouldn’t open the exit door. I felt completely unwelcome. Definitely needs better customer service training.

I'm a couple of weeks late. It has been some years since I've taken my vehicle to Walmart Auto due to a bad experience. And as expected, my first visit back after all these years didn't go well. I waited for 3 hours only to be told that they don't have the right size socket to take my tire off of my Buick Regal which I don't believe. It's a regular tire nothing special. I have a regular tool set and can take it off. Took it somewhere else and they took it off without any issues.

The customer service in this auto center is horrid. Pointless to make an appointment, no one is ever at the desk to assist. There is a “push button for assistance” but that doesn’t even get you help. The manager did nothing to help. Don’t recommend having any services done here.
