Westminster Winter Park

Had a wonderful day kayaking on the Wekiva River. This trip is favorite event sponsored by the fitness team at Westminster Winter Park. A highlight of this trip is a delicious lunch prepared fresh on the grill by the staff. We even have a private cabana for relaxing and socializing after our time on the water. Visiting Westminster Winter Park was an absolute pleasure! It was truly inspiring to witness the compassionate and high-quality care provided to the older adult population. The facility is not only beautiful and well-maintained, but also filled with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that speaks volumes about the dedication of the care team. It was a privilege to have our UCF nursing students complete their clinical rotation here. They had the invaluable opportunity to learn, grow, and provide care alongside a truly outstanding interdisciplinary team. The level of professionalism, mentorship, and patient-centered care we experienced was second to none. We are deeply grateful for this partnership and look forward to returning in the future. Spent the day at Wekiva Island with other residents. This is an exceptional experience organized by the Westminster Winter Park Fitness Team. Westminster Winter Park partners with our Herzing physical therapist assistant program twice a year offering FREE falls and balance assessments to their residents. Their therapy team is top-notch always striving for clinical excellence. So grateful to them!
