I wanted to thank Eric and his team for repairing our Honda Element. I had it repaired several times at another well known shop in Southport that never found the problem. Eric checked the engine over and found the problem first time out. The Honda has ran perfect since. There are few shops like this left, honest and thorough. Eric and staff were GREAT!! They know their stuff. Brought my 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan in for the notorious knocking sound from the lifters/rollers that the 3.6L Chrysler Pentastar engine is known for. This is a common problem and the engines are in many of the Chrysler/ Dodge/ Jeep models. They gave me a VERY reasonable estimate. An issue came up during the repair, which Eric explained to me, and the extra repair was done free of charge to me. I paid what the original estimate was and nothing more. I just got back from an almost 2000 mile road trip and my van ran flawlessly. I’ll be returning to Wilson Speed for all my auto needs. They are ethical, professional and know what they are doing. Eric does amazing work, with an obvious passion for what he does.. While my 1989 Mustang convertible is nothing compared to the Million dollar account he has with many collectible cars, he treats us like we own a Lamborghini.. We showed up with our dead Mustang, and within 2 minutes, we had 5 professionals helping us and attending to it. The car was fixed in a few hours, not days. Now, our car is back for an overall check up and tweaks.. Amazing service..!

Eric was very professional and blunt when it came to rebuilding this motor. He was conscious of my budget and since this was for my daily driver, took extra care in moving the rebuild process along efficiently and with gusto. Was not cheap by any means but in the automotive industry you really and truly get what you pay for. The care free feeling after getting this motor rebuilt is something I can’t really put a price on to be honest. No more leaks, no low end knock, no piston slap, correct oil pressure and coolant temp. Oil & filter changes every 3,000 miles and this engine will last me another 237k miles or more!

I've never seen a mechanic shop with a 5 star rating and this place absolutely deserves it. No unnecessary charges, you only get what you pay for. The staff was friendly and very easy to work with and ran as many diagnostics as I asked of them. Best mechanic experience ever, 5 stars well deserved
