Advanced Transmissions Inc

My transmission was leaking so I decided to take it in to get it fixed here at Advanced Transmissions. This would be the first time ever letting anyone else work on my stuff in 20 years because I'm a mechanic. But, due to circumstances, I didn't have access to a lift. So, I needed the help because I wasn't feeling like doing it the hard way in winter. I expressly communicated that the transmission front seals, likely pump shaft seals are leaking. They acknowledged. I expressly communicated that the transmission would have to taken out of the truck to be worked on(obviously). They acknowledged. Well it took them two weeks since dropping off the truck with them to finally get the call that the truck is ready and that my leaking problem is fixed. I got there just before closing and paid

Paid $1200 for a transmission fix it made it to ingles on Russ ave before it broke down again brought it back 3 times was told it was another issue id have to pay a couple hundred more to fix kinda just a waste of $1200 they should of caught the first time and who even knows if it will fix it very nice people but ain’t really offered much of a solution to the $1200 I spent to have my truck still sitting in the driveway broke down the same day I picked it up

I needed a bushing for the CV input shaft for my Escape. None of the parts houses even knew what I was talking about. Even after taking exploded view of the transmission with the part and the number on it, I was beat. Called Advanced and he ordered the part. It would still be on jack stands in my garage otherwise. They are very friendly and do what they say. If this CD4E ever gives up, I'll know who to call. Besides, it's hard to find someone that's competent.

So, they installed a rebuilt tranny for me, second gear was grinding so I brought it back, still grinds. I could probably bring it back again but at this point I'm just going to live with it. They were very polite, finished when they said, fast, etc. Just wish it were actually fixed correctly

Did a great job with my truck and did so in a speedy manner, they were honest and very professional
