So far I've used AutoSmith for 2 vehicle service with excellent results. Alex and his dad are fair and get the job done in fast and timely manner. My wife recently had work done to replace her headlights and they got the job done fast. Not only that about to use them again for another maintenance job I need done. Would recommend them to anyone I know!!!

You don't need to call anyone else...Alex is magical when it comes to reparing vehicles. The first time I called him I had been quoted $700.00 by someone else who told me that my cooling fan needed to be replaced. I decided to get a second opinion and found Alex through Google. He came out to me and looked at my car and in 10 minutes he figured out was wrong. A wire had come lose that was causing the problem. He tighten it and charged me $100.00. I was so grateful that he found the problem and it was so very minor. I was so impressed that I told all my friends about him and one of my friends needed work done on her car. First of all, his 5 star review is real! No BS. I live in West Ashley. You're only hurting yourself if you don't use this mechanic! I used Charleston Auto for years. No More!! Alex is a wonderful young man and he knows his stuff! His prices beat everyone else in my experience. He's mobile (for most jobs) so I didn't have to have my car towed to a shop! For bigger jobs he has a garage he works out of. He diagnosed the problem, picked up the part and had me back on the road in about an hour. No waiting for the part to 'come in'. And on a Saturday no less! Just gonna say it: you're a fool if you don't check with Alex FIRST. Keep his number on speed dial!

Alex and his dad have been an amazing help to me and my husband. Whether it was showing up to the house to work on my car while I was home with the kids or working on my husband's truck at his shop. He has worked on both of our vehicles several times now and always does a nice job and is professional, responsive, and trusting.
