Rented a Tesla for 3 weeks. While the car had some issues, the service from Geno was top notch. I appreciate the professional, upbeat demeanor, he's definitely the best at that location. His high quality of service made up for the vehicle issues. I really liked the convenience of their supercharging arrangement with Tesla.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Peter at Avis – Eugene Airport Saved Christmas I cannot say enough good things about Peter at the Avis counter at the Eugene airport. After an international flight delay, I was rerouted onto the last flight into Eugene on Christmas Eve. I had a car reserved through another rental company, only to arrive and find their counter closed early—despite knowing there was a final incoming flight. There are no public transportation options at that hour in Eugene, and I still had a 3.5-hour drive ahead of me. I was exhausted, stranded, and honestly panicking. Peter stepped in and completely turned the night around. He calmly talked me through several car options, was incredibly kind and reassuring, and truly went above and beyond. Update: After reaching out via an email with the customer support team (as requested in a response to my review), they worked with me on the fuel charge. Thanks! Will charge you $9.99 a gallon for gas, even if you opted in for prepay. I am preferred member and any time I book a vehicle, I walk straight to the vehicle and leave. When I returned my vehicle on empty, like I always do, I was charged $9.99 a gallon for gas and told I didn’t opt in for fuel. Eugene wouldn’t help me, Avis customer service wouldn’t help me, so I was charged $260 for fuel. Crooks.

Upon arrival the staff were unable to locate my reservation, they had one contract and one set of keys in the desk, when I inquired what name was on that it was mine sitting right in front of them. On return they failed to correctly book the car in, I got charged for 3 extra days until they found the car which required multiple calls to Avis and which yes was sitting on their lot and they had the keys, next level ineptitude, don’t expect any help from Avis corporate they say that the location has to correct the return date error. Good luck with that when they are unable to rent or return a car under normal circumstances.

Next level incompetence and worst car rental I have ever experienced. First I arrive and they tell me the vehicle I booked is an EV and won’t be charged for 2 hours after my scheduled pickup time. Instead of giving me a different vehicle from the dozens they had in the lot, they tell me I can either wait the 2 hours or upgrade for $20 to a different vehicle. I’m in a rush so I pay for the upgrade. Next they don’t hand me any paperwork at the counter, just the keys, because the rental agreement is supposed to come through email. It never comes through via email, nor does a receipt at the end of the rental. I have to call Avis to manually request the receipt only to find out they never sent any of the paperwork because they didn’t have my email on file. At the counter and on the phone wit
