Avis Car Rental

I have been coming to this location for over 8 years and the service from Tina, Paula, and Doug has ALWAYS been top notch! They are always very helpful and gets me in and out with no problems. What I would appreciate however, is for corporate to do better with getting this location a greater variety of vehicles to offer long standing customers like myself that spends enough each year to maintain Presidential status. This would also ensure they have adequate coverage for the many customers that patronizes this location everyday. Because of this team I refuse to rent anywhere else.

I had a great experience returning my vehicle at the Avis in Rockwall! The representative who helped me was really friendly and quick. She walked with me to the rental car and did a check on everything then she drove the car to the back and asked me to head back inside and to wait for her. While she was taking care of that, another employee came over to chat with me at the counter. He was also very nice and made me feel welcome. Both reps seemed genuine and pleasant and made the whole process easy. I was in and out in less 5 minutes. I would definitely recommend Avis in Rockwall based on the great service I received!

Not a good experience. I rented a car online from the airport but since I live in Rockwall I thought it would be better for me to pick the car up from Rockwall and then drop off at airport. Before I could give the clerk the dates she holler we don’t have any cars and I had not told her what car or SUV I would need. This place made my experience bad and I had to look at another rental. This was my go to car rental (AVIS) but I have to go some where else. Bad taste in my soul from this branch.

The morning of my rental, which was supposed to be a full-size SUV, I got a phone call that Avis Rockwall would not have my reserved vehicle available. It was not a problem for me, as this was just a two-day rental because my car was in the shop, so I willingly took a smaller SUV. My check in later that day happened to be with the store manager, and she was pleasant and reasonably efficient. She took me out to show me the car, and specifically pointed to the gas gauge and said you can see it is full. Although there was a tiny yellow line at the top, I assumed for this vehicle, which was a Jeep Cherokee, that was standard for a full tank. I drove the car one day out of the two days, and returned it on the second day after filling the tank. Because I had driven so few miles, the tank-fill

This place is a joke. There's a reason this location reflects cheaper prices. Because they don't have inventory. While waiting to pick up my rental, I've witnessed multiple failures of customer service. People making reservations online showing up, and they DONT EVEN HAVE THE CAR! Guy dropped off a vehicle he picked up from the airport with no walk around inspection they were going to get stuck the repair cost. A lady booked a specific 7 passenger vehicle even called and confirmed, yet when she shows up, they give her a 6 passenger vehicle. AVIS needs to do better, please. BTW, im obviously not picking up my vehicle on time despite handling everything online with a full reservation!
