Bucholtz Transmission

I am a older female that know nothing about car repairs. I had a transmission problem that I knew it was going to cost $$$ to fix. I contacted Bucholtz Transmission at 2760 Sheridan Dr.and talked to Jeff. he knew exactly what the problem was, and We were able to solve the issue. I talked to other highly recommend transmission shops that only talked about $$$. Jeff is a honest and caring person. I feel like Jeff is the only one that I'll trust with my car from now on. I brought my F-150 in and had a fantastic experience. The team was super knowledgeable, honest, and really helped me save both time and money. Brought my Ford Escape in with a ‘mystery noise’ under the passenger front right side. I thought it may have been the tranny or trans-axel and was prepared for a nasty repair bill. Despite being very busy, one of the guys jumped right behind the wheel and took it for a spin and put me quickly at ease with the knowledge that it most likely nothing gearbox related with the promise that they would figure it out. Within a week, Bucholtz had figured it out that it was a cracked motor mount and had it fixed. I’m very impressed because that’s not a quick or easy diagnosis or repair. Last year I took my car to bucholtz, they had my car for 6 weeks, minimal communication, they rebuilt my transmission. Call that what it is. Fast forward to now, the transmission blew, (they keep zero records btw, they told my regular mechanic they needed an exact date to look it up, luckily I had my receipt with all the information including the fact that this was covered under warranty because it had been less than a full year.) They’ve now had my car again for 3.5 weeks with ZERO communication. I called them about a week and a half ago, the guy says “oh yeah we’re looking at that today” a week and a half goes by I still haven’t heard anything so I called back.
