Gerber Collision & Glass

I would not recommend this place. My wife and I brought our Subaru Forester in after a collision with a deer on Thanksgiving. It took a couple weeks for just an estimate before any work began. The entire process of getting the car repaired took over two months. As frustrating as that all was, that is not my primary complaint regarding Gerber. Just recently, after finally needing to top off the windshield washer fluid in the Subaru, I noticed something alarming. The bolt that holds the windshield washer fluid reservoir to the frame isn't there. Nothing. It's just loose. This is a $2 part from Subaru and they couldn't even be thorough enough to make sure the washer fluid reservoir was properly attached. Had a great experience with Gerber. Michelle was wonderful to work with. Nobody wants their vehicle to get hit and have to be repaired. If it happens, you'll be in good hands here. The repairs were done quickly, and I was kept updated throughout the process. They handled everything with the insurance company as well. Gerber made an annoying situation much more tolerable.

Terrible repair job that seemed to be rushed due to them being busy. Not an excuse for terrible repairs. I have rust on a brand new fender, curled paint and scratches in a brand new bumper. Repairs were done less than 3 weeks ago. I already returned once because my car would not lock after initial repairs including a busted window regulator. Hopefully 3rd repair attempt is done right. Not happy.

Outstanding experience. I called them for a windshield replacement, they were professional, gave me quote, did not try sales tactics tricks, simply did their job, gave me a good quote which I accepted, and then they scheduled a 3 way call with the insurance, which gave me instructions to send pictures. After the case was approved, they were able to schedule me in just 2 days for the actual windshield replacement at Glass America, which was also an outstanding experience. It was a very professional, quick and smooth experience on the luxurious side.

I brought my SUV in for service in the end of 2022. My vehicle was hit from the back corner and thankfully there was only some minor sheet metal and paint damage. What should've been a relatively routine repair has turned into quite the mess and disappointment. I proceeded to go to Gerber collision as the insurance company of the person who hit me advised that there would be a "lifetime warranty on the paint and repairs done." After going back multiple times since, I thought its time to share their "work" to warn others. They do not stand behind their product and will leave you high and dry.
