John and his team are great. He did an intensive inspection of my recently purchased Lexus with a lot of miles before I take it on a road trip across country. Very in depth and looked at everything. Great prices better service. If I was staying in MN this would for sure be my go-to shop. Do not hesitate to use John and Carspec.

John and his team at CarSpec are seriously awesome! He is always upfront and honest about the work that needs to be done, he explains everything clearly and in a way that you can understand, and he has taken me back into the garage a few times to show me and explain the work being done so I can see it for myself. Most recently, he helped me find a steering rack part that I needed by calling around to other dealerships in the area to track it down since importing the part was nearly impossible with the current tariff situation.. Why even advertise and have a public facing profile if you are not accepting customers? May as well simply have a private club. I own a 2005 Corolla, 2005 Avalon, 2010 Corolla, 2015 4runner, 2020 Tundra, 2023 Camry, 2025 Grand Highlander and a 2026 Corolla. This 'business' was not interested in any of them.

John is the best. Very honest and knowledgeable. Went in for an inspection and general maintenance. I had replaced a few filters myself a week or so earlier. I forgot to tell him I didn't need those. After my service was finished my total amount due was less than the original quote because the cost of those filters was in the original quote. Right then I knew I had chosen the right shop for my vehicle. Thanks John!

John and the team at CarSpec are superb. Over the years I have had Lexus's and Toyota's and I've had this shop do all the maintenance and repairs on my vehicles. John provides excellent customer service and always gives a thorough and detailed explanation of the work performed and any recommended work to be done.
