I think I have found a great garage/mechanic. After 50’years with the same car repair place in Solana Beach I had to find a new car repair in north county . Closer to my home . My car was draining the battery and could not take a jump. Through patience and skill the problem was diagnosed and works well now. Plus, I was able to get a ride back and forth. Thank you for such perseverance and great work.

OVERCHARGING - I brought my 2005 Jeep Wrangler here as a new customer to replace the driver-side seatbelt buckle. I supplied the part myself because Jeep no longer makes it, and I asked for an estimate for labor only. I was quoted $480 and was explicitly told this was a high estimate and that the final cost would likely be lower unless the job turned out to be unusually difficult. This repair is very straightforward and, based on standard repair information and widely available tutorials, should take about one hour. This is not a complex or labor-intensive process. There are four bolts to remove the seat and one other bolt to remove the receptacle for the seatbelt. When I picked up my car, I was charged the full $480 with no explanation. The invoice did not include an itemized breakdown
