Best customer service and quality work! I'm new to town and was looking for a trustworthy shop to work on my 2018 Jaguar F-Pace. Thank goodness I found Encinitas Smog & Auto Repair! They replaced my brake pads, plus rotors, and gave me advice on what part options I had so I could pick the best parts in my budget. Preston is who I dealt with and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. The service was fast and the price was less expensive than I expected it to be. Wow! I'm so glad to have found these guys! They've earned a customer for life 🙏👊

Very unprofessional and rude. I went to get a smog check and the technician was impatient and seemed annoyed that I was in his shop. I tried to explain that I am moving my car from Texas to California and he did not seem to understand the nuances of a Texas registration. He could have easily come and looked at my car to see my Texas registration sticker but he did not. I went to Encinitas Smog Center at 449 2nd St and they understood my needs immediately. They were kind and courteous in every way, looked at my car and will complete the task needed in 35 minutes for 60 dollars. Go there instead for a much nicer experience!

Great service . Wait time was only 5 mins with no appointment for a smog. Had a coupon and got a discount. He was nice and friendly.

Not impressed. The technician was not very communicative (seemed impatient, almost resentful), and although the car passed the smog inspection, he unplugged everything that was plugged into the dashboard and left it strewn in the back seat, and after disassembling the cowling, failed to reassemble it properly. The fee was $120 for a smog inspection, which seemed very high considering his failure to leave things as he found them after disassembly.
