Costco Tire Service Center

I love Costco for many other shopping but their tire center is completely incompetent. They told me that the tires were delivered to the Milford Connecticut location, but then they couldn’t find the tires when I went there. I had an appointment. It should’ve taken 1-1.5 hours max. Instead They kept me waiting like three hours. They have 3 bumbling fools behind the counter doing the work of 1/2 a person. Never getting tires here again.

Disappointing experience today. I have been to this particular tire center several times in the past. I scheduled out a TPMS appointment so that my winter wheels/tires could be reprogrammed and paired to my vehicle, this is a 10 minute process at most and I was forced to install TPMS on my winter tires at this location. I spoke with two employees who stated my appointment for 12:15 would be 45 to an hour from my original appointment. I said that was unacceptable and the employee proceeded to tell me he wasn't going to stop working on a car to work on my vehicle, I told him that wasn't what I requested. All I requested was to have my vehicle serviced at the appointment time I scheduled days in advance, what it really sounded like was that the garage was over allocated and took too many walk

Understaffed? Declined the tire rotation. They suggest an appointment. It’s been more than a decade to buy tires here because of the convenience of the tire rotation during costco shopping. Never declined for a walk-in. Now I am going to change the tire shop for all of my cars.

I’m very happy with going to Costco Tire to get 4x tires on my SUV. 1) Service: they actually are fully staffed and someone picks up the phone to answer questions and gave good tips. The previous other big box store I had gone to for 4 years was impossible to reach anyone or make appt. With Costco it was seamless. 2) Ease: Ordering a online was easy to buy, track my order enroute, and make my installation appointment. I knew it would take about 10 days for new tires to arrive and was simple to use scheduling site to pick a date and time. 3) Care: The staff was very friendly, and went above and beyond. Extremely helpful place...I've dropped my car here to have tires replaced more times than I can count. The staff is very helpful and good at explanations. They're clearly experienced and well-versed in their jobs. Service is very quick and convenient too, by the time I'm done shopping in the main Costco store, my tires are replaced and my car is good to go!
