Costco Tire Service Center

Overall, this was a horrible experience based on customer service — not the tires themselves. The tires appear to be manufactured well, but the experience from check-in to pick-up was extremely disappointing. At the time of purchase, I clearly explained the diagnosis of my tire issue — a specific sensor was causing a leak — and that I needed all four tires replaced. Based on that conversation, I believed everything discussed was included in the purchase. However, upon check-in, the customer service experience immediately declined. The staff member was unprofessional, lacked communication skills, and spoke to me in a very condescending manner. Fellas do a great job here. Communicative and friendly. Had a tire blown, Costco replaced it with $187 credited towards purchase of new tire. Additionally, the spare I had on, they installed back under my truck for me. That’s great service.

Went in person to the desk at the store asking for replacement tires. Provided VIN, license plate, make and model. I was asked to pay up front for the tires even though they wouldn’t be available for a week. After they came in, I was told I needed to make an appointment to get installed. After bringing car to the appointment I was then told that the wrong sized tires were accidentally ordered only after the original tires were taken off my vehicle.

Boy, do they take their sweet time here —even when you come in with an appointment. For example, despite having an appointment, it took nearly two hours to service a single tire, and for almost half that time, my vehicle was the only one being worked on. Throughout my visit, I observed technicians wandering around the service bay as if they were constantly searching for parts, tools, or even a missing bolt—anything but working efficiently. Even after a tire service would be completed, it took an additional 15 minutes for a vehicle to be moved out of the bay. On my most recent visit, I planned to buy some milk and other dairy products. Knowing the service center’s inefficiency, I waited until the tire was removed from my vehicle before stepping out. By the time I returned, expecting that
