Cruise America RV Rental

New to RV-ing and Cruise America. This trip was on my bucket list, so we rented a C25 for 23 days. we visted 10 states The bucket list main states were South Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Utah, Colorado and 6 National Parks. After almost 4900 miles our journey ended. Mike, at the St Charles location made the trip meet our 5 star expections. Mike was able to provide us with a new 2025, C25. Originally, I had leased it for 17 days with an exceptional rate an with unlimited mileage. After finalizing our plans we needed 6 more days. No wanting to lose out current rate I contacted Mike, he in turn followed up with Cruise America and was able to extend our time. I have rented from numerous Cruise America locations and this one is the best. Another location nearby almost ruined my trip but Mike in Saint Charles was able to figure something out for me and save the entire trip. The RV itself was great. Super clean and no issues. Having rented before I thought I knew everything but Jim was super helpful in making sure all my questions were answered. Cruise America should have these guys teach their other locations how customer service should be. I cannot recommend them enough. Next time I need to rent in the Chicago area I will be back at Saint Charles.

Mike and Jim are great! I have never rented an RV before so I was a little skeptical and these guys took care of my family and I. My kids have not stopped talking about the trip since we got back. If you love dogs you will love this place as well. The RV was super clean and we had no issues. We traveled as a group of 5 in the large RV in July 2025.

2 stars because the RV ran good and got us to our destination. 3 stars off because almost nothing in the RV worked and we returned the unit with more propane than we left with, and everything else at the levels it was supposed to be returned. They still charged us $75 on return, but cannot give us a reason why. With the stove not working, the A/C barely cold enough to make a difference, and a "fresh" water tank that smelled so bad, we couldn't even use it, they should be giving us some sort of refund, not charging us a mystery $75 upon return. I will NEVER use Cruise America again, nor would I recommend them at all. Stay away from these shysters

before i start, this experience happened a couple years ago, when this location was in Naperville, IL, owned by the same people (i believe.) I WOULD HIGHLY ADVISE AGAINST RENTING FROM HERE. We rented a large 30 foot RV from these guys, and not the one in Plainfield, because this one had better reviews. could not have been a worse decision. when we got there, the office was pretty dirty. we got in the RV, and immediately a few things were very wrong. Blue tape was holding the floorboards together in the rear bed area, several kitchen cabinets didn’t close and had broken latches, the MAIN DOOR of the RV didn’t close or latch correctly, and many times just opened itself while driving. scary. but those all were maintenance issues, i can understand it, but on the night we rented it, we parke
