D and E is the best place for alternators, generators and starters. They are the nicest people on the planet. I have brought stuff to them from 40's tractors, and 50's and 60's cars and trucks. Often when I bring a generator with its regulator that are not charging, they check them out right while I wait and find that the generator is fine and I just need a new regulator. they have never charged me for this service, they are just wonderful and so honest. When the alternator or generator needs rebuilding, they are able to complete the work in a day or 2-3 and for a very reasonable price. I can't say enough good things about them, I thank them for all of the help that they have given me.

To start with, I'm sorry I didn't get the name of the man and woman working there because they were awesome! I thought I had a bad alternator, so I called to verify this place could help me. The person on the phone was not only very nice, but she was extremely helpful. When I walked in the customer at the counter was having some issues with a starter he purchased. The tech there took the the starter in the back, fixed it, and had the customer out within minutes. When it was my turn the same guy who helped the customer before me helped me. He took my alternator and tested it for me. When it tested "ok" and I told him the symptoms I was having, he took it apart and cleaned the brushes and physically examined the whole thing. The staff is highly trained to take care of anything you have. The are family owned and operated and you can tell, the are honest. Love this place they have helped me with all kinds of Starters, alternators and generators.

I took in a 63 year old starter off my tractor. Didn't know if it could be repaired or not. I dropped it off Thursday afternoon late . Received a call the next day around 2pm telling me it was all repaired at half the price of a remanufactured one.
