Dollar Car Rental - Charleston International Airport

I don’t like that my price was different from my booking price. This was the first time it happen I understand things change as far as fees but there should be notice given or don’t allow affiliates to give final price. I return my vehicle early. I try to see if there was any savings bc I book for 2 days and only used it for one day. I also had to wait another 30 minutes for a vehicle. Hopefully it will be better next time.

The initial customer service was great! She was friendly. When I did finally made it to the vehicle it presented as clean however later in my driving I found a vape cartridge, bottle of pinesol and the windows were filthy. I made my concerns known when I returned the car. The young lady apologized for the vehicle not being cleaned appropriately.

The car was affordable and there wasn’t any hassle. However, the person who checked me in was quite rude and had an attitude. She was especially harsh with the person after me and was not welcoming at all. Thankfully, I only had to interact with her for about 10 minutes.

I have had two really great experiences renting a vehicle with them when back home in Charleston. Clean vehicles, easy process, and kind employees. I will be renting from them again indeed.

Other than the very long walk from the terminal to all of the rental car facilities. Dollar and hertz rental car employees were extremely gracious and helpful.. Got in and out quickly with zero problems!
