Dollar Car Rental

If I could give a negative review I would. POORLY run operation! Waited in line for an hour and 15 minutes due to the person running the desk busy on a personal call on her cell phone and blue tooth. She never acknowledged that we were there nor thanked us. We were not charged as quoted I called customer service that evening which was a jake. '[I asked for a supervisor and was told she had that capability and then hung up on me. Upon arriving at the airport yesterday, I was then debited $450 for the key that was returned. We received that bill 15 even though I went back to Customer Service and she said it would be credited back but 24 hours later it hasn't been. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!

A long wait for no apparent reason, followed by pressure to purchase a bunch of add-ons, even though it was all done on-line prior to my arrival. They asked for my personal credit card, even though my company paid in advance, with the company card. I relented only after being promised that no charges or holds would be placed, and that it was only a precautionary measure. The car I rented was dirty, and had an 1/8 of a tank of gas, even though they promised it would be filled. I reported this to the attendant who wrote a note on my paperwork and told me to just return it with the same amount of gas. I then vacuumed the car, and filled it up, because I am on a business trip and didn't want to seem unprofessional. I drove less than 60 miles, turned the car in with more than 3/4 of a tank, and

If I could give negative stars I would. The low price is not worth the hassle. They double charged my card when we rented the vehicle. After more than 3 calls to the company the charge is still sitting as pending 3 weeks later. When calling in, the wait time is outrageous, only to be connected to someone who is incapable of resolving anything. Avoid the headache and take your business elsewhere.

Worst experience ever, tried to rent a car for a family vacation. Nowhere did it disclose that at the airport you MUST have a credit card to rent a car. Lady told me I could go to the other loaction 5 minutes down the road and use my debit card. I left and googled this said outside location but to my suprise there is no address anywhere for a second location. I had to stop in a store to ask for help. Also tried to call dollars customer service but literally noone wanted to answer until 20 minutes later. I eventually find second loaction only to be told anything over a 5 seater has to have a credit card. Again NOWHERE was this ever disclosed when setting up the reservation. I highly recommend going elsewhere and save yourself the trouble

NEVER use Dollar Car Rental They’ll charge you for things you opted out of and argue with you about the charges when you call to dispute them. I specifically declined things and am being charged. I was also not explained the actual charges for an additional driver & that charge was larger than I intended. I dropped the car off with a full tank of gas & they’re charging me $65 to fuel the car. Terrible, terrible service. Way to ruin a family vacation.
