First Choice Automotive (Star Station)

If your looking for a top notch place this is it!! I brought my older van into Tom's shop and they didn't over charge me or push me around. They were very informative and helpful. The receptionist Charlie was able to give me all the information on my parts and a far price. The person who worked on my car Josh went above and beyond to make sure he figured out all the problems and had answers for everything I asked. When ever asked I always recommend first choice automotive!

I can admit when im wrong about giving insite on a person and there buisness this gentlemen the owner is a man with integrity and showed me that there are still places for someone in need of help to bring there car and TRUST that there car is in good hands. My previous judgement was caused by bad experiences with other shops and unressolved issues but thats not fair to the gentleman that owns this hardworking shop here in dixon california and any man that calls me down to the shop for a face to face about a issue at hand has my respect and buisness period. I apologize for my unfair review previously and hope that is doesnt clout anyones judgement about this buisness i reccomend this shop to anyone who is seeking car help they will work with integrity and knowledge and wont leave u feeling

Very friendly little shop who took great care of smogging my car which initially would not pass for the longest time. Friendly staff, snacks in the fridge, and affordable!

I recently visited First Choice Automotive on 09/13/25 for a smog check, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience. Thom & The staff were professional, friendly, and incredibly efficient. I was in and out much quicker than I expected. The waiting area was clean, comfortable & Their pricing was fair. I highly recommend First Choice Automotive to anyone needing a smog check or any auto services. They've definitely earned my trust and future business!

Best shop in town, thom was very helpful and went out of his way to give me a hand. 10/10 recommend. Most affordable shop i have been to in town.
