Greer to the rescue! My family’s minivan died right before the exit to Coralville and Dana was willing to have my car towed and stayed late to get it fixed. He out in high quality parts and his rates were fine. Overall, the bill was much higher than I’d like, but that was mostly due to an expensive part. He seems kind and honest, rare in this business.

First time customer, had an A+ experience. My car needed a very challenging weld job to address exhaust line corrosion. They got it done in under 36 hours despite a host of challenges and a busy schedule. They communicated very well throughout the process about my options, prices, and pros/cons of various decisions. Very impressed with quality of service, speed, and price.

I've had pleasant experiences with Greer Auto up until recently - my 2012 Chevy Malibu has been sitting in their lot since late July 2023 off and on, and at one point was sitting in their lot for over a month. I understand that car repairs are more of an art and less of an exact science, but I feel cheated and like I've shoveled money into a business that doesn't really care about it's customers. I told them when I first dropped it off that it seemed like a fuel system issue, and stressed that I wanted them to look at that first - but evidently the owner had been on vacation that week. I have had to reach out via phone call or walking down to the shop myself in order to receive any kind of update on repairs. My advice to you is to try to use a different shop. It seemed pretty clear to me

Had Dana work on my 09 Civic and 03 Tahoe. He took the time to diagnose the problem and his prices were more than fair and not the typical gouging of a dealer maintenance shop. Dana is friendly and runs a great business with a small town feel. I know I will go back for work when it is needed. Very happy customer. Nice to have found a mechanic you can trust.
