Heartland Diesel has a strong reputation in the area and is often described as the authority on diesel work. Based on this experience, however, they are not the authority on communication, and that made an already stressful situation much worse for everyone involved. This situation started with a customer of ours who broke down while traveling through our area last June. We replaced the fuel pump on his 2017 Ram 1500, all of our repairs are covered under a nationwide warranty program. In December, while traveling again, the customer experienced the same symptoms and had the truck towed to Heartland Diesel in Franklin, Indiana. Took my truck in for some a service def system light. They took the time to try and reset everything before just throwing parts at it. Unfortunately it still needed a new module.
