This time I picked up from Hertz on Astronaut Blvd in Cape Canaveral, and it worked out really well. Amazing experience with Hertz at Port Canaveral! From start to finish, everything was smooth and efficient. The shuttle from the cruise ship to the car rental was quick and easy, which was such a relief after getting off the boat. Jackie was fantastic and helped us get in and out without any hassle. Our keys were already waiting for us, and the whole process was unbelievably fast honestly, I’ve never had a car rental experience that quick and seamless before. Truly impressed with the service and organization. I would absolutely rent from Hertz again and highly recommend this location to anyone cruising out of Port Canaveral.

I prepaid for this rental. The agent when we collected the car at Orlando was very poor. One man trying and failing to deal with many incoming flights left us standing in line for well over an hour. Despite giving Hertz all of my information on line when booking, he needed us to write it down again. No mention was made of additional charges for the hire although he did not seem to have any of the vehicle type that we booked. I now see that I have been charged $167.26 more than I agreed and paid for my rental. I would state that the car provided was fine. Bigger than we needed for the two of us but nice to drive.

I got off a cruise in Port Canaveral and needed a 3 day car rental to visit my uncle in Palm Coast. All I can say is WOW!! WHAT A FABULOUS EXPERIENCE! I was off my ship at 7:45am, walked to the meeting point and called for the Hertz complimentary shuttle at 8:04am, was picked up by the friendliest retired Navy Veteran shuttle driver ever at 8:20am and after being checked in by Jackie, who I would have loved to sit and have coffee with she was so wonderful, I was in my car and on my way to Palm Coast at 8:40am. Less than ONE hour! I call that record time! I wish customer service was this spectacular everywhere. Thank you, Hertz on Astronaut Blvd, for getting it right. I will definitely be back to this location.

Simply said, this was the easiest and smoothest car rental I have ever had. I had read some critical reviews of this location, but my experience could not have been better. I arrived on a busy cruise day. As a President Circle member, I was immediately greeted by a friendly agent who had all my paperwork ready. They pulled my car up for me. It was a new SUV, a category upgrade, in great condition. This was a terrific experience. One note, I did get an email the day before the rental with pictures of my rental and the rental agreement. They process the car the day before. Don't worry. The actual rental period starts when you pickup the car. This email shows you have a car waiting.
