Hertz Car Rental - North Hampton - Lafayette Street

Made an appointment over the phone for a car rental, and was directed to the north hampton nh location. I was assured I had secured a 1030am appointment, and received a reference number. I was told I simply just needed to walk in with my driver license and credit card in hand would be all set to drive away with a rental car. I walked in and was ignored, and then finally "greated" in an annoyed manor by an older disheveled/extremely unprofessional lady. I was told "you're not in our system, and even if you were we dont have any cars" accompanied with eye rolls and lots of fatigued exhales. I asked what my options were and she answered with "you dont have any, what do you want me to do about it?!" After about 5 minutes of being useless/horrendous customer service...she decided she was don

This is my favorite location to rent from Hertz. Gianna Tamagnini always goes out her way to make sure that I have the right car and makes the whole reservation process easy. Outstanding customer service!

We booked a rental vehicle online for this place. I haven't stepped foot in the building, but my husband and I called them 3 times in 2 weeks leaving a voicemail each time, and we never received a call back. I'm not sure if they have an issue going on with their voicemail, however, because of no communication available by them we cancelled the reservation. We had to forfeit $50 of our total cost of rental vehicle when canceling as well. We were in a bind because our flight changed and we were scheduled to arrive after they closed. We felt lack of support wasn't sufficient for our needs.

This place is truly awful the woman was rude and they are continuing to charged for this car they have had for 8 days!! So they are just taking unsuspecting customers money since I just got the notification after 8 days. I hear sorry but no offer to stop charging me for the car I returned so it is a poor response. Maybe try to have better customer service and don't try just saving face when others read about my experience. Even after reaching out to support the charges keep happening. I have reported them for trying to fraud me and would caution anyone from using them no matter how convenient it is.
