Highway 21 Firestone

I have used Firestone for years for various auto and tire repair. But today I went in to have a check engine light diagnostic which cost me $170. The tech said that my thermostat was stuck and needed replacing... Quoting me over $900. I said hold up... I'm going to have to wait. I knew something didn't sound right with that. I went to another auto repair business. Had the same diagnostic done and quoted just over $400 for the same repair. Either that thermostat from Firestone was made of gold, I was quoted high so that I would pass on the work (because they were kinda busy), or they were just plain ripping me off. After this I have lost all trust in Firestone and lost out on $170 for a diagnostic just to be quoted an astronomical almost of money for a simple repair that took less than an h

They did a decent job on the front, but they broke my Instrument Panel Cover 😢 now I gotta pay double, so we'll try somewhere else next time... 2 days later, Firestone of 21 tells me their tech noticed the broken part then said it didn't matter (Go to Firestone if you want your car to be irrelevant.. The 2026 New Year update for Firestone does not reflect a commitment to quality work.

If you want your thing broken by people who don't know the difference between a bezel and a cluster. costed me 300$ for one line up 😠 #scam .... new year updated no one at firestone cares about there work

Was told multiple times they were starting my tires right away, after over an hour my truck was still parked in the lot and they were working on someone's car that came in half an hour after me. They were the ones that called me and said they were ready for me to be there.
