Idol's Tire Center

After reading some of the other reviews, I wondered if I was in Idol's today because I had a great experience. Shannon at the front desk was very thorough and patient to answer my many, many questions and to show and explain the issues with my car. I went in for new tires and an oil change and they discovered a problem with my calipers, of which I was already aware of from my regular mechanic. They showed me the issue and it was legit and time to replace them. I called my regular mechanic (he recommended Idol's because of a scheduling issue at their shop), and told him the price and he said that was very reasonable. I am very pleased with my experience and am not anticipating any issues later with the work they did.

Had rear pads and rotors replaced here approximately 6,000 miles ago. Began to get a vibration from rear of car when braking. Multiple mechanics advised me the rear rotors were the issue and should be under warranty. Idols told me my front rotors were the issue and wanted to charge a few hundred dollars to "re-surface", I did not feel right about this (I had replaced these 300 miles ago) and declined. Advance Auto did the right thing and warrantied my front rotors despite saying there is nothing wrong with them. No change in the issue. I purchased rear rotors and installed, problem fixed. Rather than warranty the rear rotors they installed, Idols wanted to charge me for to fix an issue that did not exist. One of two things here. Mechanics do not know what they are doing or Idols i

Twas time to get some new shoes for my Xterra and going back n forth between tires I decided to get some Cooper Road & Trail tires. Idols got me in next day after they ordered the tires, fixed up a bad TPS sensor to boot at very reasonable rate. Just straight forward service and good atmosphere. Appreciate their help!

scammed me lol. Took my car in for an inspection in November because it needed emissions. I’d gotten it inspected THAT DAY by a dealership (they couldn’t do emissions) and everything was fine. I was told the wipers were bad and I’d need to pay $50 for new blades. The wipers they sold me are unsafe. They’ve fallen off three times now. They will take advantage of you if you come for an inspection at the last minute. Avoid.

Idol Tire's location is easy to miss, I heard about them from Action Glass. I've had my car inspected there 4 years in a row, and had it repaired once. Always reliable, always quick. Tire prices there are same as most places- I trust them cause they're fast and they're honest.
