Long story short, took my Subaru to the local dealer and was told $3500 for all the repairs they happened to find. My car was throwing a bunch of codes from the electronic system, and essentially they suggested replacing/repairing everything that was throwing a code even though they didn't know what was going on exactly (but they did say my battery was bad!). So my husband said no way, and replaced the battery elsewhere, and magically the electronics and codes were all corrected. Bring in SRS! The amazing auto repair shop in town. We took it here, showed them the dealer suggestions, and they essentially confirmed our suspicion that it was just a bad battery. If we would have trusted the dealer we would have spent thousands of dollars, instead of $360 on a battery. SRS replaced a ball join

SRS Tire and Auto is the ONLY shop I will go to in Boone. They are always fast, friendly, and knowledgeable when providing services & repairs; they also have reasonable prices on parts and labor compared to other local options. William in particular always goes the extra mile to ensure customers are taken care of and informed. These qualities are hard to come by in this industry & are why we will continue to choose SRS for our auto maintenance needs!

Service was excellent. This issue had been bothering my husband for a long time—I went to several repair shops and none of them could figure out the cause. Only this shop was able to identify the problem. They were also very patient in communicating with us and helped us save money by offering honest advice.

I don't really even know where to begin. After BOTH my spouse and I's vehicles became unusable in one weekend (what are the chances?!), on the recommendation of a coworker, we had our Honda Pilot towed to SRS. After SRS diagnosed the Honda, and a dealership quoted $3000 to repair our other car, we quickly realized we wouldn't be able to be able to repair either of our 2 vehicles. However, SRS went above and beyond and met us where we were in order to get our car running again and returned to us, even thoughtfully explaining some underlying issues. I can't really even begin to express how grateful we both are. They will definitely be our go-to auto repair shop in Boone from now on.

I am a girl who goes to school around here and am often afraid I’ll get overcharged for auto services since I don’t know much about cars (which has happened before). Well, my car was malfunctioning one day and kept quitting on me when I drove, so I was desperate for help. I stopped at SRS, described to them what was going on, and they were able to fix my car that same hour and relatively fast! Not only that, but I did not pay a ridiculous price for the service either. The front desk people are real sweet and I will definitely bring my car back and recommend this shop to others!
