Inver Grove Honda Service

I typically try to stay out of dealerships but needed the fuel pump impeller recall done. Start to finish, the service department was great. No extra fees or charges tacked on and they even washed the car which is more than I can say for other dealerships I’ve been to. Will be back if more specialty work is needed in the future!

TLDR: Inver Grove Honda charged me $500 for them to fail to diagnose an issue. I have a 2018 honda accord and the AC stopped working. There is an issue with these accords where the AC condenser leaks and honda added an extended warranty to this so if it breaks, they will fix it for free. I brought my car in and was told that they needed to do their diagnostic and if it was the condenser then they would cover the diagnostic fee and the part replacement. The diagnostic fee was $500. I said that’s fine assuming it would most likely be the condenser. After the diagnostic, they came and told me they didn’t see a leak and didn’t know what was wrong. They recharged the AC cause it was low and now my car AC was working again. They said it was probably leaking somewhere but they couldn’t find it

Have always had a positive experience here. The staff is friendly and seem to genuinely care about their customers. They never try to sell me on additional services during my visit. At times they will recommend services if needed.

Get your vehicle elsewhere if you can. If you have a warranty, triple check what it all includes. They'll do anything and everything to make sure it's not "they're problem"
